of 400,000 hotels for users to choose from when selecting a room to book, and
that number is just the beginning. The platform helps hotel room-searchers cut
to the chase, giving them the savings and rewards directly and successfully
reducing the cost and other middlemen that comes with booking a hotel through
other services.
The hotel booking
platform, a blockchain powered platform built on the Ethereum network, has
released the alpha soft version of their platform and is about to launch its
main platform that will give customers from various cities the opportunity to
book hotels as easy as possible. With over 400,000 hotels listed on the
platform, the developers are set to add more as time goes on.

Problem With The Online Hotel Booking Industry
There are tons of online

charge about 10 to over 30% on all rooms that are booked. Asides from the
outrageous fees charged, this fee is received by these sites through the
backend, thus, offering customers making this payments little or no
transparency. Currently, the fee for each hotel room now depends on the booking
site, the type of transaction that is carried out, and the wholesaler.

Loyalty
Programmes
Hotel loyalty programmes
will be integrated into the GOeureka platform, where travellers may earn
loyalty points from the hotels they have booked. Necessary APIs will be provided
for hotels to link their loyalty database with GOeureka. This will help
facilitate the interoperable loyalty points detailed in GOeureka’s official
whitepaper. GOeureka will send and
retrieve data from the hotel’s database to provide real-time updates for users
to track their points and for hotels to track points that users have redeemed
with GOeureka. Research shows that 70%
of customers do not sign up for a loyalty programme due to inconvenience and
time costs associated with registering for a programme . With GOeureka, 1
registration for a loyalty programme is processed and verified in the backend.
Customers will only be required to fill up an online registration form or, if
they are already registered loyalty members, they only need to provide their
pre-registered details (e.g. member ID) and the platform will link and display
their loyalty details.
